Osceola County is bordered by Orange County to the north, Brevard and Indian River counties to the east, Okeechobee County to the southeast, Highlands County to the south, Polk County to the southwest, and Lake County to the northwest.

The racial makeup was 59.9% White, 16.9% Black or African American, 3.4% Asian, 0.7% Native American, 0.1% Pacific Islander, and 19.0% from other races or two or more races. Additionally, 51.1% were Hispanic or Latino of any race. The 2024 estimated population for Osceola County is 425,846, with a growth rate of 9.6% since 2020.
