Osceola County is located in central Florida, just south of the Orlando metropolitan area. It has a total area of 1,506 square miles, with 1,327 square miles of land and 179 square miles (11.9%) of water. Osceola County is bordered by Orange County to the north, Brevard and Indian River counties to the east, Okeechobee County to the southeast, Highlands County to the south, Polk County to the southwest, and Lake County to the northwest. 

Demographics 

According to the 2020 U.S. Census, Osceola County had a population of 388,595. The racial makeup was 59.9% White, 16.9% Black or African American, 3.4% Asian, 0.7% Native American, 0.1% Pacific Islander, and 19.0% from other races or two or more races. Additionally, 51.1% were Hispanic or Latino of any race. The 2024 estimated population for Osceola County is 425,846, with a growth rate of 9.6% since 2020.
