Palm Beach County is located in southeastern Florida, along the Atlantic coast. It is part of the Miami metropolitan area. The county has a total area of 2,383 square miles, with 1,970 square miles of land and 413 square miles (17.3%) of water. Palm Beach County is bordered by Martin County to the north, the Atlantic Ocean to the east, Broward County to the south, and Hendry and Glades counties to the west. 

Demographics 

According to the 2020 U.S. Census, Palm Beach County had a population of 1,492,191, making it the third-most populous county in Florida after Miami-Dade and Broward counties. The racial makeup was 60.1% White, 20.9% Black or African American, 3.2% Asian, 0.6% Native American, and 15.2% from other races or two or more races. Additionally, 23.8% were Hispanic or Latino of any race. The 2022 estimated population for Palm Beach County was 1,513,301, with a growth rate of 1.4% from 2020.
