Seminole County is bordered by Orange County to the south, Volusia County to the northeast, and Brevard County to the east.

According to the 2020 U.S. Census, Seminole County had a population of 470,856, making it the 13th most populous county in Florida. The racial makeup was 79.9% White, 10.6% Black or African American, 5.4% Asian, 0.4% Native American, 0.1% Pacific Islander, and 3.6% from other races or two or more races. Additionally, 16.1% were Hispanic or Latino of any race. The 2022 estimated population for Seminole County is 476,190, with a growth rate of around 1.1% since 2020.
